This is me, Barbara Nicole. If you've been on this journey with me for a long time or just recently heard of me thank you for your support. While we're here I want to take a few minutes to debunk some common myths about who I am and who I am not. As an artist, I'm not afraid to be vulnerable with you and speak my truth so here we go:

1. I do not have a trust fund - I grew up in a small town north of Boston, we lived with my grandmother and had food stamps at one point. I learned how important an education was at an early age and the meaning of hard work.

2. I did not go to an IVY - we could not afford it and even though I am smart I was never any good on standardized tests. I got a full scholarship to Suffolk, graduated 2nd in my class, worked full time during school, networked, and that is how I ultimately got my job at Google

3. I am not a party girl, "booth babe" or girlfriend of the DJ - I AM THE DJ, vocalist, songwriter, composer, producer, label owner and I lead product marketing and new Gen AI solutions at Google, where I still work, and use my income to help support my grandmother, mom, charities and other artists

4. I don't play games - I have 0 idea how to date, I'm a dork and very awkward actually

5. I am not a true blonde - but I've always felt it in my soul :)
